GOAT BAND stores the minimum needed to run the game: your email address (for sign-in), a username, your bands, generated songs, votes, and credit history. Guests are identified by an anonymous cookie so an in-progress band survives a refresh.

Song generation sends only non-identifying musical characteristics to our AI providers — never your personal data and never real artist names. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.

Product analytics are first-party event counts used to improve the game. To delete your account and data, contact the address in the site footer of the production deployment.

Advertising

GOAT BAND is free to play, supported in part by advertising. Where ads are shown, third-party ad partners (such as Google) may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which can involve sharing limited technical data (like your device/browser and IP-derived region) with those partners. This is the “sharing/sale” of data as some privacy laws define it. Buying a 12- or 99-song credit pack removes ads permanently for your account.

You can decline advertising cookies from the notice shown on the site, and we do not show ads to signed-in ad-free members. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are not shown personalized ads during beta.
